WHO WE ARE

Based out of Denver Colorado, we are a small family business trying to build and deliver fun and creative products to fun and creative people. Our products might not be life altering necessities, but they will always be interesting, creative. We try to marry the retro/analog/original products of yesteryear with the current/modern/digital/technology of today and tomorrow.

Do you have a product idea? Is there something you love from your childhood that you wish was in a more modern form-factor? Is there something out there that in no way needs to be digital or connected but you wish it was? Let us know. Maybe we can make your dream a reality.

TRaCK Industries was actually founded back in the late 1990’s. Friends for decades, Tracy, Roy, Colleen and Kevin discovered they all have very creative minds. As electrical, mechanical, structural, and computer engineers respectively, they were constantly inventing, building, designing, improving or ‘MacGyver-ing” something.

They knew at some point they wanted to bring their ideas to life, but timing was not right. In the mean time they wanted to come up with a name for their company. After a few iterations and using the letters of their first name they came up with TRaCK Industries.

Kevin has a very soft spot for the 80’s. In this decade he was a teenager and self proclaimed science nerd. Technology really started moving in to the individual consumer space and great inventions like the internet, mobile audio devices (i.e. cassette players, mini-disk, CD’s), cell phones, personal computers, handheld games and video recorders were starting to change the world. Now in the mid 2020’s advances in technology are exponential and those same devices look and function nothing like they did in the 80’s. But there was something ‘solid’, ‘quality’ and in his words ‘ground breaking’ with those original 1980’s products. He knew in junior high when he saw his first IBM PC jr and APPLE IIe that he was going to be a computer engineer, and that’s what he did. After going to college for a Computer Engineering degree, he went to work for a fortune 100 on their I.T. Help desk working is way up though the years he switched his focus from hardware to software and became a Sr. Software Developer and ultimately a Principal Software Architect.

The gadgets and nostalgia of the 80’s is as powerful to Kevin as are the advances in technology of those same gadgets. He is so passionate with both he wanted to try and bring them together. Tracy purchased Kevin his first 3D printer in 2020. With manufacturing now litterally at his fingertips, Kevin started putting ideas from pen to product. Seeing that none of his ideas existed in the world, now having decades of software development under his belt, having access to home manufacturing and knowing the company name he and his friends had created had been sitting dormant for 2 decades, he knew it was the right time to bring it all to life.
